Building many attractive programs for "Green Cat Ba 2024"

In order to well organize cultural, sports and tourism events to promote the image of Hai Phong people and city to a large number of people, domestic and international tourists and the special significance of the event of UNESCO officially recognizing Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago as the first inter-provincial and city World Natural Heritage of Vietnam; Hai Phong City People's Committee has developed a plan to organize low-altitude fireworks display at the Cat Hai District Festival Program in 2024, responding to the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024.

In addition, at the Cat Hai District Traditional Festival in 2024, there will be 10 activities such as: Cat Hai District Mass Art Performance in 2024, Cat Hai District Men's Volleyball Tournament in 2024, "Cat Hai Youth - 65 years of following Uncle Ho's teachings" camp; Cat Hai District Dragon Boat Race (expanded) for the 28th Hai Phong Newspaper Cup; Fastest X Cat Ba Amatina Running Tournament in 2024; Cat Ba Trade - Tourism - Seafood Fair in 2024....

A prominent event is the Cat Hai District Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024, held from March 30 to 31, 2024 at the Cat Ba Tourist Center Square with many attractive activities such as: Hot air balloon lantern night; hot air balloon flight performance of all kinds; hot air balloon hanging experience; sightseeing inside the hot air balloon, taking photos and checking in with hot air balloon miniatures... It is expected that 13 hot air balloons of all kinds will participate in this event, including 3 giant multi-colored hot air balloons, 6 level 1 hot air balloons and some ground balloons.

The 2024 Cat Hai District Traditional Festival is organized to continue to widely propagate Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; the heroic tradition of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Cat Hai district; and to well implement Uncle Ho's teachings 65 years ago when he visited "Our gold forests and silver seas are owned by our people".

This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 1924), responding to the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2024. At the same time, it is an opportunity to promote propaganda, promotion, honor and develop the value of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago.
