Due to the impact of storm No. 10, many localities in the province experienced heavy rain, flash floods, landslides, seriously affecting people's lives. These days, along with the work of overcoming the consequences, localities and units have organized delegations to visit and give gifts to encourage the people.

* Provincial Red Cross Society gives support to people affected by floods in Duong Quy

On the afternoon of October 1, a working delegation of the Provincial Red Cross Society led by Ms. Vang Thi Mai Huong - Vice President of the Society visited, encouraged and provided support to households affected by floods in Duong Quy commune.

Here, the Delegation presented 13 gifts to 13 households whose houses were swept away by floods and completely collapsed (each family received 3 million VND, 1 box of household goods and essential necessities); supported food and essential items for people in the commune with a total value of nearly 60 million VND.

According to statistics, Duong Quy commune has 19 affected houses, of which 13 houses suffered serious landslides, 1 house had its roof blown off and 5 houses were flooded; 190 households had to be urgently evacuated to a safe place. The whole commune has about 65 hectares of crops affected; 1 iron bridge in Tong Hoc village was swept away by flood; Nam Cho overflow tunnel on National Highway 279 was seriously damaged; many inter-village roads were eroded, mud and soil stagnated causing traffic paralysis... Total damage is estimated at about 3 billion VND.

* Trinh Tuong Commune visits and supports households affected by storm No. 10

On October 1, leaders of Trinh Tuong commune directly visited, encouraged and provided support to households whose roofs were severely damaged due to the impact of storm No. 10.
