The car was driven by Mr. HVĐ. (Manager at Tu Tren Hydropower Plant - Nam Xe), carrying Mr. H.D.G. and Mr. PVT. All 3 people were reported missing since September 29.

At 11:40 p.m. on October 2, at the scene, authorities determined that the car was crushed and severely deformed, with almost no chance of the victim surviving. Rescue work encountered many difficulties due to the large amount of buried earth and rock.

By 5:30 a.m. on October 3, the rescue team had removed the car from the rubble. The third victim, Mr. T., has yet to be found (updated to 6:00 a.m. on October 3).

However, due to heavy rain and high risk of landslides, the search for victims had to be temporarily suspended to ensure safety. When the rain stops, the rescue team will continue the search.
