According to Mr. Nguyen Van Luu - Director of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant (located in Tam Quang Commune, Nghe An ), by 12:00 on July 23, the flood in Khe Bo Hydropower Reservoir reached its peak with a flow of more than 7,402 m ³ / s. Because this hydropower plant is not capable of cutting floods, the plant was forced to discharge water through the project at the same time with a flow of more than 7,402 m ³ / s, the sluice gates were fully opened.
