Spring is coming to "Warm home for learning"

“Home for the Promotion of Education” is a meaningful program implemented by the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education for many years. This is a bridge between donors to support the construction of spacious houses, to create motivation to support poor students who love to study and overcome difficulties. And this Spring, many students in the province have been able to celebrate Tet in spacious new houses, filled with love.

Leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, representatives of JNTC VINA Co., Ltd. and delegates visited the learning corner at the handover ceremony of the "Home for Promotion of Education" for Nguyen Kim Thanh's family in Group 2B, Phong Chau Street, Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City.

This Tet, the joy of Nguyen Kim Thanh (7B grade student, Bach Hac Secondary School) is multiplied when his family celebrates Tet in a new house. Although he is a student from a poor family in group 2B, Phong Chau street, Bach Hac ward, Viet Tri city, he always strives to overcome difficulties and study well. "The warm home for learning" is a great reward for him because of his constant efforts and efforts to improve his studies.

Born into a family with very difficult circumstances. His father, Nguyen Kim Tuan, has suffered from mental illness for many years. Since his father fell ill, his mother's health has been poor but she is the main breadwinner in the family. Sympathizing with Thanh's family's situation, the provincial and city Association for the Promotion of Education has mobilized philanthropists and sponsors to support the construction of a house called "Warm Home for the Promotion of Education" for his family.

The house was started in October 2024. After just over 2 months of construction, the "Learning Promotion Home" was completed with an area of ​​70 square meters, with a total construction value of 272 million VND. It is known that the newly built house was supported by many charitable organizations, including the Viet Tri Provincial and City Learning Promotion Association and JNTC Vina Co., Ltd., supporting 150 million VND, and the City Fatherland Front Committee supporting 40 million VND. The remaining amount is from the help of brothers and relatives. In addition, Bach Hac Ward, along with other sectors, organizations, schools, Tam Giang Temple Management Board, etc., supported household items. On January 7, 2025, the Viet Tri Provincial and City Learning Promotion Association organized the handover of the house to the family.

Sharing her feelings about being in a new house that still smelled of paint, Nguyen Kim Thanh still couldn't believe this was real. Overwhelmed with joy, she shared: This will be a Tet I will never forget, because from now on, my family will not have to worry every time there is a storm. I love my house very much, a beautiful, sturdy and warm house. I was also given many new school supplies and desks and chairs. These are extremely valuable gifts, motivating me to continue studying to achieve higher achievements.

Like Thanh, Nguyen Sinh Hung's family (6A student, Tien Du Secondary School) in Zone 4, Gia Thanh Commune, Phu Ninh District is in a very difficult situation. His father left when Hung and his siblings were young, leaving Hung's mother alone to work hard to raise them. Loving his mother and understanding her hardships, Hung was determined to make up for her with his academic achievements. For many years, Hung was an excellent student at school, loved by teachers and friends. The house where Hung and his mother lived before, given by his grandmother, has seriously deteriorated.

Faced with that situation, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and the Phu Ninh District Association for Promotion of Education called for sponsorship from many agencies and units, with the hope of building a new house for Hung's family. And that wish came true when the project started in September 2024.

After more than 3 months of construction, the new spacious house has been completed with an area of ^​​80m2 , including: A living room, four bedrooms, a kitchen, and a tiled yard. The total investment cost for construction is over 317 million VND, of which the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and JNTC VINA Co., Ltd. supported 150 million VND along with many valuable items such as: Tables and chairs, books, school supplies...

Hung emotionally expressed: “With a new house, my family’s life is no longer as difficult as before. I am very grateful for the care and help of leaders at all levels, the Provincial and City Associations for Promoting Education, philanthropists and organizations of the commune that have supported my family. I will try to study hard to achieve even higher results.”

The New Year is near, in the "Homes for Promoting Education", seeing the happy smiles on the bright faces of poor students is like adding motivation to those working in the field of promoting education.
