Mrs. Ho Thi Un, 85 years old, in Prin Thanh village, A Doi commune, Quang Tri province, after hearing that a doctor from Economic-Defense Group 337 came to examine and provide free medicine, asked a relative to take her to A Doi Medical Center very early to be examined.

Mrs. Un confided, “I have suffered from spinal degeneration for many years now, making it very difficult to move around. Because I live far from the hospital, I rarely go to the doctor. When I heard that the Military-Civilian Medical Clinic of the 337 Economic-Defense Group would come to examine, provide health consultations and dispense free medicine, I and the people here were very happy and excited. With the doctor's dedicated examination and medicine, I will follow the doctor's instructions to get well soon.”

Ms. Ho Thi Bon in Ma Lai Pun village, Huong Phung commune, Quang Tri province shared: “I have heart disease and high blood pressure, so I have to go to the hospital every month for treatment, which is very expensive. Knowing that there is a free medical examination and medicine service at the Medical Center, but my family has no one to take me there, so I asked a neighbor to take me there very early in the morning, hoping to be examined by the medical team of the Military and Civilian Medical Clinic. With the medicine provided by the Clinic, my family will save more money and feel very happy.”

It is known that, in addition to the task of examining and treating cadres, soldiers and people in the area, every year the Military-Civilian Medical Clinic, Economic-Defense Group 337 regularly organizes many activities of medical examination, consultation and free medicine distribution for people in remote communes and especially difficult areas in Khe Sanh Economic-Defense Zone, Quang Tri and is highly appreciated by local Party committees and authorities. Thereby, contributing to taking care of the health of people in the area so that people can feel secure in production, join hands with cadres, soldiers of the unit and forces to preserve the sovereignty of the western border of Quang Tri province.
