Specifically, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's leading hotel management and operation franchise group with about 9,100 hotels in more than 95 countries, has just opened two new projects in Phu Quoc City ( Kien Giang ) named: Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc (1,399 rooms) and Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc (921 rooms).

A representative of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts said that Vietnam is currently one of the key markets that Wyndham Group is focusing on developing to anticipate the strong recovery of the domestic tourism industry.
It is known that these two new projects are operated under separate cooperation agreements with Phu Quoc Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company for Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc and Newvision Land Company Limited for Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc.
Mr. Joon Aun Ooi, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia - Pacific region, said that Phu Quoc pearl island is an extremely beautiful island and Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc is the largest hotel in the Wyndham system in the world.
“Vietnam plays an extremely important role in the heart of the group and is important in the business development strategy not only in the region but also in the world. We see many opportunities for the development of the group as well as Phu Quoc tourism in the future,” Mr. Joon Aun Ooi expressed.
Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee (Kien Giang) said that currently, in Phu Quoc City, there are 321 investors, mainly focusing on tourism, services, entertainment, including high-end entertainment, with total registered investment capital up to 18 billion USD. Mr. Hung hopes that Phu Quoc in the future will be a tourist center of regional and international stature.
