260 police and military officers and soldiers help people of Tran Phu commune harvest rice.

HNP - On October 2, 260 police and military officers and soldiers supported the people of Tran Phu commune in harvesting the winter-spring rice crop, limiting damage caused by storm No. 10, and responding to upcoming natural disasters.

Heavy rain and strong winds caused many rice fields in Tran Phu commune to fall, at risk of total loss.

Due to the impact of storm No. 10, heavy rain and storms caused flooding in Tran Phu commune, affecting 350 hectares of ripening rice. To ensure timely, safe and reduce damage to the people, Tran Phu commune mobilized forces to coordinate to support people in harvesting according to the motto "green house is better than ripe field".

Promoting the tradition of "military and people are like fish and water", on October 2, 40 militiamen of the commune, 100 officers and soldiers of the Special Forces Officer School, 50 officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Training Center, 50 officers and soldiers of Battalion 31 (Air Defense - Air Force) and 20 officers and soldiers of the commune police went to the fields to help people of Tran Phu commune harvest the winter-spring rice crop.

The help of police and military officers and soldiers not only helps people reduce damage from natural disasters but also creates close, lasting relationships.

People expressed their gratitude for the timely support of the above forces. Mrs. Dang Thi Thu (Cong An village) shared: "All the children and grandchildren have gone to work, leaving only me and my 90-year-old mother, not knowing how to manage. When the police and army units came to help, I was very moved." Mrs. Phung Dinh Hue also expressed: "Thanks to your help, my family has finished harvesting the rice, not worrying about damage in the upcoming floods."

Soldier Nguyen Anh Tuan, Battalion 31, shared the joy of contributing to help people overcome difficulties.

Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Phu Commune Nguyen Nguyen Hung, on behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and local people, thanked the military and police units for their support, affirming that the military-civilian relationship is even closer through these practical activities.
