From October 1-2, the commune's Youth Union mobilized more than 100 young people to help overcome the consequences of the storm. At Con Zot Primary School, many schoolyards were flooded with mud and rocks, causing difficulties for teaching and learning.
Ms. Briu Thinh Chung, Secretary of the Youth Union of La Eê commune, said that we have mobilized the commune's youth force, along with the militia and police, to use hoes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. to actively clear mud, level the ground, and clear the flow, helping the school to stabilize soon.
On the roads, nearly 10 landslides were filled up, obstructing traffic. Youth forces and people quickly cleaned up, leveled, and temporarily repaired the landslides to ensure traffic safety for people.
This is not only a meaningful activity, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and pioneering role of La Êê commune youth in joining hands to prevent and overcome natural disasters, but also contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, affirming the tradition of "mutual love", not leaving anyone behind after natural disasters and floods.
