4 cars collided in series on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 section through Thanh Hoa, causing local traffic congestion.

Information from the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said that at around 3:00 p.m. on February 2 (the 5th day of Tet), on the Mai Son - National Highway 45, Thanh Hoa - Hanoi direction, a series of collisions occurred between 4 cars. The collision caused local traffic congestion on the highway.

The accident occurred in Thieu Quang commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

After receiving the information, the functional forces of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3 were present at the scene, diverting traffic and guiding vehicles to change direction to the exit of National Highway 1A.

Authorities also dispatched traffic rescue vehicles to handle the scene.

By about 4:20 p.m., the traffic congestion on the route had been resolved and traffic returned to normal.
