On April 6 and 7, in Gio Linh district, Gio Linh District Cultural and Information Center coordinated with Billiards Club 68 to organize the Cader 47/2 Billiards Tournament of the Central Highlands - Central Region "Unification of the Country" in 2024.

The tournament gathered 76 players from 23 Billiards Clubs in Quang Tri and some provinces and cities in the Central Highlands. Cadre 47/2 is a variation of Billiards Libre (freestyle) that aims to limit shots to two object balls located close together, making it difficult for players to create larger series; this requires even higher levels of skill and technique from the players compared to Libre.

The Billiards Cader 47/2 Central Highlands "Unification of the Country" tournament for the 68 Billiards Club Cup is organized in the form of socialized sports with active participation and contribution in both material and spirit from those who are passionate about Billiards; creating a useful playground for players and Billiards lovers to meet, exchange, exchange expertise, learn experiences and compete; strengthen the relationship of solidarity and help, support each other for mutual development between Billiards Clubs in and outside the province.
Through the tournament, the aim is to promote the Billiards movement to develop widely in Gio Linh district in particular and Quang Tri province in general; at the same time, discover and select young talents, new factors to train and foster as the core force of Gio Linh district Billiards to participate in Billiards tournaments in and outside the province to achieve high results.
