On July 18, the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training announced that the 2025 high school graduation exam results recorded a graduation rate of 97.71% with an average score of 5.9 points - a positive result for the local education sector.
Specifically, for the 2018 General Education Program, the whole province had 160 exams with absolute scores of 10, including: 6 math exams; 71 physics exams; 8 chemistry exams; 7 history exams; 47 geography exams; 18 economics and law exams; 3 foreign languages exams.
Khanh Hoa has a high school graduation rate of 97.71% in 2025.

The percentage of candidates with average scores or higher in subjects according to the 2018 program is as follows: math 39.74%; literature 90.36%; physics 86.94%; chemistry 67.72%; biology 67.4%; history 71.91%; geography 74.7%; economics and law 97.15%; information technology 81.63%; agricultural technology 98.44%; industrial technology 71.88%; foreign languages 54.21%. The average score of the subjects ranges from 4.57 to 7.48 points, in which the lowest is math and the highest is agricultural technology.
In the 2006 General Education Program, the whole province had 2 exams with a score of 10 in history. Civics had the highest average score (6.83 points), foreign languages had the lowest (4.7 points). The percentage of exams with average scores or higher in subjects according to this program is as follows: math 62.39%; literature 61.15%; physics 84.13%; chemistry 73.02%; biology 67.86%; history 52.36%; geography 80.63%; civics 87.5%; foreign languages 38.76%.

Valedictorian wants to pass on passion for mathematics
The province's valedictorian this year is Nguyen Nhan Tam, a 12A1 student at Ly Tu Trong High School (formerly Nha Trang City), with a total score of 37.75, including: math 9.5 points, literature 8.5 points, physics 10 points, chemistry 9.75 points. This achievement helped Tam enter the top 110 out of 200 candidates with the highest scores in the A00 group nationwide.
In particular, Tam chose to study mathematics education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with the dream of becoming a teacher. “I want to pass on my passion for mathematics to my students,” Tam shared.
Tam's love for mathematics began in his early elementary school years and has continued to grow over time. From grade 6 to grade 12, Tam was always an excellent student, the best in his class for many years in a row.
According to Ms. Phan Ngoc Chieu An, the homeroom teacher, Tam is not only intelligent and hard-working but also has a spirit of sharing, always supporting friends in their studies and actively participating in school activities.

In addition to his excellent academic achievements, Tam is also famous for his kindness. Ms. Truong Thi Le Nga, Tam's mother, shared: "Every time he received an award, he used a portion to buy books and gifts for orphans and poor students."
As the class monitor, Tam always arranges the study corner neatly, schedules scientific study and balances between studying and playing. This year, she also won second prize at the provincial level in the online Math Olympiad, further affirming her special talent in her favorite subject.
