Warm "Tet reunion"

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" organized by the Labor Federation of localities in Ha Tinh province has supported hundreds of gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

On the afternoon of January 26, Nghi Xuan District Labor Union organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" for union members and workers in the area.

Nghi Xuan District Labor Federation currently has nearly 2,900 union members, operating at 89 grassroots unions. To take care of the material and spiritual life of workers, in 2023, unions at all levels organized visits, gave gifts, and subsidies to over 378 union members, workers, civil servants, and employees in especially difficult circumstances with an amount of over 239 million VND; supported the construction of 3 union shelters with an amount of 90 million VND. Humanitarian and charitable activities are also of special interest to the union organization.

Leaders of the Provincial and Nghi Xuan District Labor Federations presented gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to union members and workers.

On the occasion of welcoming the Year of the Dragon, Nghi Xuan District Labor Union organized the program "Happy Tet - Sharing Spring" to give many meaningful gifts to union members and workers in the area.

At the program, the District Labor Federation presented 146 gifts, including 10 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (each worth 1.3 million VND); 40 gifts from the Provincial Labor Federation (each worth 800,000 VND); 96 gifts from socialized and mobilized sources (each worth 750,000 VND).

The program “Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia” is also a place for union members and workers to meet and exchange. Here, the Organizing Committee also organizes an interesting folk game “drawing lucky gifts” for those who attend the program.

Previously, the District Labor Federation also reviewed and selected 60 union members with difficult circumstances and excellent achievements to participate in purchasing products and goods on the "Union Tet Market" through reputable e-commerce trading floors, with a support level of 300,000 VND/person.

According to a survey by the Cam Xuyen District Labor Federation, in the spring of Giap Thin 2024, the whole district has nearly 700 union members and workers in difficult circumstances who need to be cared for, visited, and given Tet gifts. The District Labor Federation has developed a plan and directed 100% of grassroots unions to organize activities to care for union members during Tet.

Through the appeal, the Cam Xuyen District Labor Federation mobilized 17 organizations, agencies and units to support nearly 300 Tet gifts for union members with a total amount of 250 million VND; directed grassroots unions to give more than 400 Tet gifts to workers with a total amount of more than 210 million VND.

At the program, the Labor Federation of Cam Xuyen district donated 2 union shelters with a total amount of 45 million VND and presented 225 gifts with a total value of 168.5 million VND. The remaining Tet gifts will be presented by the Labor Federation of Cam Xuyen district at the upcoming "zero-dong Tet market".

With the motto "All union members, workers, civil servants and laborers have Tet", "no one is left behind", at the program, the Labor Federation of Huong Son district donated funds to support 4 union shelters and 220 gifts for workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 280 million VND.

Gifts were supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Confederation of Labor, District Confederation of Labor, District Fatherland Front, units, enterprises, and philanthropists.

Also at the program, the Huong Son District Labor Federation organized a "Union Tet Market" with 10 booths of grassroots unions with nearly 100 traditional items and products, imbued with Vietnamese Tet, to serve workers and people to celebrate the New Year.
