An Giang launched the Smart Operation Center of Long Xuyen ward

DNVN - On the afternoon of September 22, the People's Committee of Long Xuyen ward (An Giang province) coordinated with VNPT to organize a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2025 - 2030 and launched the Smart Operation Center (IOC) of Long Xuyen ward.

According to the cooperation agreement, from now until December 31, 2030, Long Xuyen Ward People's Committee and VNPT Long Xuyen will cooperate in developing digital infrastructure; building digital government; developing digital economy; digital society based on digital citizens. In particular, focusing on building digital infrastructure, shared platforms; cooperating in training and developing human resources in telecommunications - information technology; prioritizing the implementation of solutions and software serving models under project 06.

Deploying big data platforms and AI applications on smart urban platforms; promoting digital transformation, consulting, supporting technology transfer and implementing digital transformation for businesses; deploying cashless payment solutions, developing e-commerce towards comprehensive development of the digital economy ; developing smart healthcare, smart education; digital citizens...

After the signing ceremony, delegates attended the launching ceremony and performed the launching ceremony of the Long Xuyen Ward Intelligent Operation Center (IOC).

At the ceremony, Party Secretary, Chairman of Long Xuyen Ward People's Council Huynh Quoc Thai requested VNPT Long Xuyen to closely coordinate with the Ward People's Committee to supplement and fully and comprehensively integrate all fields, especially the fields of security, order, social safety; urban order, public order... Contributing to helping the local government improve leadership and management, effectively carry out the task of socio-economic development, building Long Xuyen ward into a smart and civilized urban area.

Previously, the People's Committees of Long Xuyen, Binh Duc, My Thoi wards and My Hoa Hung commune also had a working session with VNPT Long Xuyen to discuss contents related to the exploitation and use of subsystems of the Smart Monitoring and Operation Center to improve public administrative services for the people and operate the two-level government in the ward.
