Previously, Dai The Gioi water park was operated by a private enterprise, under the management of District 5 Cultural Center (old).

After the land lease contract expired, the operator did not renew it, causing the park to stop operating and be abandoned for many years, wasting public land funds and urban exploitation potential.

However, since January 2020, the park has stopped operating and has been abandoned until now. According to the people living around, Dai The Gioi is one of the large-scale water parks and attracts a large number of visitors in Ho Chi Minh City. However, after many years of disuse, this place only has degraded structures and desolate landscapes left...
