[Photo] Inauguration Ceremony of the Headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations

(NADS) - On the morning of August 1, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations held the inauguration ceremony of the new Headquarters after 2 years of renovation and construction at 51 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Head of the Central Propaganda Department attended the opening ceremony.

This is considered the common home of artists and writers across the country, associated with many important historical events of the Vietnamese literary and artistic community since the revolution.

After more than 2 years of construction and renovation (March 26, 2022 - August 1, 2024), the Headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations has been completed with a new, more beautiful and modern look.

Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, spoke at the ceremony.

“The inauguration of the new headquarters today is like adding energy, inspiration and confidence to us artists on a new journey with many advantages and many difficulties to strive to fulfill the functions and tasks assigned by the Party and State with the goal of creating many good works and projects with ideological and artistic value to serve the people and the Fatherland.” - Associate Professor, Dr. Musician Do Hong Quan expressed.

The headquarters at 51 Tran Hung Dao has left its mark on many generations of Vietnamese artists, who lived, worked and created immortal works for posterity. This place was also once the place to send off artists to their final resting place.

The inauguration ceremony of the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations marks the return of the common home 51, the sacred and affectionate home, the holy land of creativity, the heart of the literary and artistic community of the whole country.
