Applying AI in composing the logo for the 13th National Youth Union Congress

On the morning of September 29, in Hanoi, the Central Youth Union and Tien Phong Newspaper held a press meeting to introduce the logo design contest for the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , term 2026-2031.

The Organizing Committee said that the contest aims to widely promote the important political event of the Union, encourage the emulation movement, creativity of the youth nationwide. The goal is to attract a large number of artists, designers and people to participate in choosing the official symbol (logo) with high ideological and artistic value and the ability to spread and promote the 13th Congress, term 2026-2031.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, as well as foreigners living and working in Vietnam. Entries must be new creations, never published or entered into any other contest.

The special and breakthrough point of this contest is that the Organizing Committee accepts works that reference or use Artificial Intelligence (AI), but the author is required to clearly label and be responsible for copyright and legality.

In terms of content, the work needs to adhere to the core spirit of "Pioneering - Solidarity - Courage - Breakthrough - Development" of Vietnamese youth and depict the determination to successfully implement the country's development goals by 2045, focusing on the "Pioneering" spirit in all fields.

Speaking at the press conference, Tien Phong Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Phung Cong Suong emphasized: Each Congress has left a deep impression through typical artistic symbols, becoming a source of inspiration and encouragement for the youth spirit. The contest continues that tradition, hoping to select works of artistic value, ideology and influence, reflecting the spirit of the times and the aspirations of today's young generation.

According to journalist Phung Cong Suong, expanding the participation to all classes and international friends affirms the spirit of openness and receptiveness, aiming to find a logo worthy of the 13th Congress, symbolizing the aspirations of Vietnamese youth. The logo design contest is a lively form for the youth to express their participation, creativity and affirm their bravery, intelligence and Vietnamese identity.

“The 13th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is not only a place where the intelligence, courage and ambition of the youth converge, but also an opportunity for the whole society to clearly see the aspirations to rise up, the spirit of dedication and contribution of the young generation of Vietnam in the new era,” Mr. Phung Cong Suong emphasized.

Competition prizes include 1 Special prize; 5 to 10 A prizes; 10 to 15 B prizes. All prizes receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, a certificate from the Organizing Committee and a cash prize.
