Three people in Kon Tum were seriously injured after a loud explosion.

Authorities in Kon Ray district, Kon Tum are investigating the cause of the incident that injured three people after the explosion.

On December 31, a representative of the People's Committee of Kon Ray District (Kon Tum) said that the district police are investigating the explosion that left three people seriously injured and hospitalized.

According to initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. on December 29, people in village 3, Tan Lap commune, Kon Ray district, Kon Tum province suddenly heard a loud explosion and the ground shook.

The explosion occurred at the house of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Diep (32 years old).

Hearing the loud explosion, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong and his wife (Mr. Diep's neighbors) immediately ran over to see and saw three men lying on the kitchen floor. These people were seriously injured, their clothes were scorched, and their bodies were severely burned.

Mr. Tong Xuan Thang (35 years old) said that his house is about 50m from Mr. Diep's house. At the time of the incident, he was taking a nap at home. After the loud explosion, Mr. Thang felt the house shaking, and the two doors were pushed out of place.
