Sacombank has just approved the resignation of Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem as a member of the Board of Directors and her cessation from participating in the Board of Directors' activities, according to her personal wishes.

Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem withdrew from positions at Sacombank.

According to the resolution, Ms. Diem, currently the permanent vice chairwoman of the board of directors (BOD), has requested to withdraw from the BOD and will no longer participate in related activities for personal reasons.

The Board of Directors also agreed to submit this resignation letter to the nearest General Meeting of Shareholders for consideration of dismissal according to regulations.

The Board of Directors authorized the Chairman of the Board of Directors to allocate the bank's reward fund to reward Ms. Diem appropriately for her contributions during her concurrent tenure as General Director.

Previously, Sacombank's Board of Directors decided to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem from the position of General Director.

The bank also appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhung as acting general director to replace Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem from May 27.

Ms. Diem was born in 1973 and has a PhD in finance and banking from the Academy of Finance. She assumed the position of general director in 2017, when Sacombank was officially approved to implement the post-merger restructuring project.
