According to information from the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Trinh Minh Thanh was assigned to run the work of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, replacing Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky - who has just submitted a request to resign from his assigned positions.

In addition to Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee currently includes Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Xuan Phuong.

Previously, on August 3, the 13th Party Central Committee held a meeting on personnel work according to its authority.

Based on the report of the Central Inspection Committee and the proposal of the Central Organizing Committee, the Party Central Committee found that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky and a number of other leaders violated Party regulations in performing assigned duties and tasks, violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, the responsibility to set an example, and regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
