Ms. Vo Thi Kieu Tien was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Cu Chi District Fatherland Front.

Ms. Tran Kim Yen, Chairwoman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, awarded certificates of merit from the City People's Committee to two individuals.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cu Chi district has inherited and promoted the traditions of previous generations of Front cadres; united, innovated, and strived to excellently fulfill the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 11th term Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cu Chi district.

In each campaign and each program, there is care and investment, from the way of doing things, solutions, models to coordination, resource mobilization and participating forces.

Delegates voted unanimously on the congress agenda.

Many practical models suitable to the local characteristics have received consensus and response from the people such as in the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", Cu Chi district has had programs such as organizing Peak Month for the poor, "Vegetarian Cuisine" Festival; Day of action for the poor; "Compassionate rice" program... thereby, mobilizing the Fund for the poor over 62 billion VND.

Or in the environmental protection movement, Cu Chi district has the model of "Flower route, green, clean, beautiful and safe residential area", "15 minutes a week, for a civilized and clean city", building model routes; transforming 54 black spots of environmental pollution"; "Buddhism with the image of green fences, garbage-free routes, green, clean, beautiful"; "Garbage-free religious hamlets"...

Speaking at the congress, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Kim Yen praised the efforts, responsibilities and achievements that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cu Chi district has achieved in the past term.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Tran Kim Yen presented the Cu Chi District Front with an emulation flag for the unit achieving outstanding achievements for 5 consecutive years in the patriotic emulation movement for the 2019-2024 term.

At the congress, delegates consulted 70 members for the new term of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and 12 members to attend the congress of delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city. Ms. Vo Thi Kieu Tien was re-elected as Chairwoman of the new term of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; 2 Vice Chairmen are Ms. Truong Thi My Hanh and Mr. Doan Cong Thuan.
