The 20th session of the 18th Ha Giang Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, took place in 2 days, December 10 - 11, with many important contents. Notably, the completion of the position of Vice Chairman of the Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee.

At the opening session held on the morning of December 10, according to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, in 2024, Ha Giang province achieved many outstanding results in various fields. 31/36 socio-economic development targets met and exceeded the plan; state budget revenue in the area reached 119.9% of the plan; import-export turnover reached 308 million USD.

Total retail sales of goods and services reached 19,861 billion VND; all major agricultural production targets were achieved and increased; over 3.2 million tourists were attracted; the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached 7%; total social investment capital reached 14,200 billion VND; 3 national target programs were implemented synchronously and effectively; the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1) through Ha Giang province completed site clearance; disbursement of public investment capital reached 83.9%.

On the afternoon of December 10, the People's Council of Ha Giang province elected Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha , member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, to be the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 18th term, 2021-2026. As a result, 100% of the delegates attending the meeting agreed.
