The Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued Decision No. 2568/QD-BTTTT promulgating the Vietnam e -Government Architecture Framework, version 3.0, towards digital government. The 3.0 Architecture Framework was issued to guide ministries and provinces in building e-Government Architecture version 3.0 on the basis of upgrading and updating content from version 2.0.
The Ministry of Information and Communications said that the 3.0 Architecture Framework is deployed from central to local levels with the goal of enhancing connectivity, data sharing, and sharing of IT resources in each state agency and between state agencies and other agencies and organizations nationwide...; enhancing the ability to monitor and evaluate IT investment; aiming to deploy e-government towards a synchronous digital government, with a suitable roadmap, limiting duplication; enhancing the ability to standardize, ensure network information security, network security, and protect personal data in the implementation of e-government and digital government.
The 3.0 architecture framework is applied in ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provinces and centrally run cities. At the same time, other agencies and organizations can refer to it for implementation.
