According to The Verge , the Resident Evil 4 remake will soon have a notable new mode. On December 8, the PlayStation 5 remake of Resident Evil 4 will receive a free update that adds a VR (virtual reality) mode to the game.
VR mode perspective in Resident Evil 4 remake
According to Capcom, VR mode will give players a more realistic and terrifying experience of Resident Evil 4 than ever before. Players will be able to experience the horror scenes and thrilling action scenes of the game for themselves.
" Resident Evil 4 's VR mode will support the entire main story and bring a much more immersive level to the mission of Leon S. Kennedy's harrowing rescue mission," the press release said. "This experience allows players to see the terrifying world directly through Leon's eyes and immerse themselves in their surroundings using the PlayStation VR2 headset's 4K HDR display."
To help players get used to using weapons and killing zombies in the VR version, Resident Evil 4 will have a shooting mode that allows them to experience the controls and types of weapons that the main character will use.
The VR version is just one part of the whole special attention given to the remake of Resident Evil 4. The game is one of the candidates for 'Game of the Year' at The Game Awards, it is also one of the games selected to launch on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro along with Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding and Assassin's Creed Mirage .
