Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee deploys tasks for 2025

This morning, January 7, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee held a conference to review internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negativity work (PCTNTC) and judicial reform (CCTP) in 2024, and deploy tasks for 2025. Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang commended and acknowledged the results achieved by the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in 2024.

After analyzing the causes of the achieved results as well as the requirements in the field of internal affairs, prevention and fight against corruption, waste, negativity, and CCTP work in 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang requested the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to closely follow the leadership of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention and Fight against Corruption, Waste, and Negativity and the actual situation of the locality, unite and make efforts to perform well the assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks.

The report of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee stated that in 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee actively advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Prevention, and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption to lead the implementation of internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-corruption tasks, achieving many important results.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presided over and coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee Office to advise the Provincial Party Committee Secretary on receiving citizens, and at the same time monitored and urged relevant agencies and units to implement the conclusions in the citizen receptions to report to the Provincial Party Committee Secretary. At the same time, it coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee Office to receive 61 citizens who came to the Provincial Party Committee headquarters to make complaints, denunciations, reflections, and recommendations.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee attended the monthly citizen reception on the 25th of every month organized by the Provincial People's Committee, receiving 279 petitions, of which 232 petitions were transferred by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, 46 petitions were received by the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, and 1 petition was received at the citizen reception of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary. The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Disruption received and handled 45 petitions of the cases.

After receiving and classifying, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee coordinates with the Provincial Party Committee Office and relevant agencies to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to promptly handle and resolve petitions according to regulations; proactively work with relevant agencies and units to verify complicated and prolonged petitions, periodically urge for resolution and synthesize reports to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee according to regulations.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to advise the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue the 2024 Inspection and Supervision Program on contents in the fields of internal affairs, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Prevention has conducted 1 inspection and 3 supervisions according to Program No. 05 dated January 26, 2024; the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Prevention has conducted 2 supervisions. At the same time, the Committee has also completed 3 supervisions according to Inspection and Supervision Program No. 09 dated January 29, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption to review the socio-economic inspection conclusions and implement the recommendations of the State Audit for the 2022-2023 period, thereby requesting the recovery and payment to the state budget of more than 2.1 billion VND.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee also completed well the work contents such as appraisal, verification, coordination and implementation of the tasks of the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, the tasks of the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, and other tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption.

The conference spent most of the time discussing, pointing out the causes of the results achieved as well as the shortcomings and limitations, and setting out key tasks for 2025. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity to direct functional agencies to improve the quality and speed up the progress of investigation, prosecution and trial of key and complicated cases of public concern, corruption and economic cases.

Directing the timely handling of complicated issues of political security and social order and safety arising in the province; reviewing complicated cases of public concern and putting them under the monitoring and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity.

In recognition of the achievements, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee awarded certificates of merit to 19 individuals and 10 collectives for their outstanding achievements in consulting on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and CCTP in 2024.
