The announcement of two fierce contestants Queen B and Dangrangto stopping the game before the final round makes the situation of Rap Viet season 4 even more predictable.

The final round of Rap Viet season 4 witnessed the competition of 7 contestants including: Coolkid, Danmy, Manbo, Gill, 7dnight, Saabirose and Hustlang Robber.

Among them, Manbo and Saabirose were the two finalists with the judges' golden hats. Coolkid won the last wild card thanks to the two rescue votes of Karik and Suboi.

Among the final 7 contestants competing for the championship, Gill and Hustlang Robber are the two biggest unknowns. They are also the contestants with the most experience and the largest fan base in Rap Viet season 4.

Both exploded from the opening stage of the Conquest round, continued to maintain their form and created a strong explosion after the Confrontation and Breakthrough rounds.

In these 3 rounds, Gill focused on showing off his strengths in trap, club, and flexing music. In the Final round, the male rapper was no longer a flashy city boy but turned to a rustic, emotional color with the performance "Waiting for someone".

Judge Thai VG praised Gill for her efforts to improve herself through each round.

With extensive experience, Robber scores points thanks to his stage presence and flexibility in expressing rap colors.

Meanwhile, from the Conquest round, the performance "Dad" helped Robber receive 4 votes and 1 golden hat from B Ray.

After the Confrontation round, Robber continued to rise strongly to become the contestant with the highest recognition in Rap Viet season 4. The highlight was probably the performance with the theme "Always be alert to compliments" in the Final round.

Robber took the studio by storm with his unexpected transformation. He switched his flow and voice constantly, from gang rap on a thick bass line to closed tune (a vocal enhancement technology), then to his own unique mumble rap style.

Judge Thai VG did not hesitate to affirm that Robber will be the one to bring hip hop to the world and officially joined Robber's fanclub after this convincing performance.

Manbo struggled to reach the finals

Victory was even more open for Gill and Robber when the remaining opponents had a clear gap.

When Queen B left the game, the two remaining female contestants, Danmy and Saabirose, became alone when facing the "bogeymen" Gill and Robber.

It is easy to see that after 4 rounds, Danmy and Saabirose have made progress in all aspects from music to performance. But these two girls probably have not yet reached the "maturity" of Queen B - the female rapper with the highest skills in Rap Viet, pure underground style, beautiful voice color, and inner strength that she has shown.

Similarly, with Coldkid, the Finals showdown showed that the rapper needed more time to hone his craft.

Coach Karik advised his junior: "You are doing everything very instinctively and according to a framework, you need to be more 'crazy'. That 'craziness' helps stir up the audience more than if you do everything in a certain order."

Previously, Suboi's final vote that decided Coolkid's chance to continue caused controversy on social media. Most opinions said that the male rapper should not have been given this opportunity.

Even the contestants in the competition expressed their dissatisfaction. Specifically, in a talk show, producer ViruSs, in the role of host, asked: "To be frank, who is the most unworthy person so far?" Lower answered firmly: "For me, it's Coolkid."

However, Suboi explained that she has been active for many years and knows what the international community needs in an artist. Coolkid has a lot of potential to go far, to show the international community what Vietnamese artists have.

Manbo has not shown the expected flexible color transformation.

The two remaining contestants are 7dnight and Manbo - close friends of Hieu Thu Hai who were highly anticipated from the beginning of Rap Viet season 4.

But from the Breakthrough round, both showed a lack of steam in winning over the audience professionally. It is not an exaggeration to say that Manbo struggled to go from Breakthrough to the Final.

However, the fact that Queen B and Dangrangto stopped playing was also believed by the audience that the producer had "staged" the finale to clear the way for Manbo to win the championship.

Currently, the organizers have not commented on the above suspicion. However, the fact that Manbo can "surpass" Gill and Robber will certainly cause controversy.

According to the rules of Rap Viet season 4, the champion is decided based on audience votes (accounting for 60%) and the scores of the coaches/judges (accounting for 40%). In which, the coach choosing his/her contestant is counted as 1 vote, while voting for another contestant is counted as 2 votes.

With the audience's choice slightly more in favor, the Rap Viet champion becomes unpredictable.

In the next episode (expected to air on December 14), the champion of Rap Viet season 4 will be officially revealed.
