Central Propaganda Department has new deputy head

On the afternoon of June 28, in Hanoi , the Central Propaganda Department held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee Phan Thang An announced Decision 1331 of the Secretariat, deciding to appoint Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Head of the Propaganda Department, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.

Mr. Nghia said that Ms. Dinh Thi Mai is a well-trained officer with a lot of experience in professional work. In all her positions, Ms. Mai has affirmed her strong political will, pure ethics, high sense of discipline, good professional capacity, and the ability to build internal solidarity and unity.

As Head of the Propaganda Department, Ms. Dinh Thi Mai is always proactive and active in performing her duties, contributing positively to the results and overall success of the Central Propaganda Department as well as the Party's propaganda sector.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief that in her new position, Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, together with the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department, will unite, continue to lead, direct, and complete the assigned tasks to the best of her ability. Mr. Nghia also hopes that Ms. Mai will continue to promote all her efforts and intelligence, continue to learn, research, constantly innovate, and strive to be worthy of the trust of the Party, the Secretariat, and the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department...

In her acceptance speech, the new Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Dinh Thi Mai, promised to constantly cultivate and improve her qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; promote the glorious tradition of the Party's Propaganda Department and branch, dare to think, dare to do, unite, innovate, and be creative for the common good; strive to carry out and complete assigned tasks well; contribute to enhancing the image, position, and prestige of the Central Propaganda Department and the Party's propaganda branch.

Ms. Dinh Thi Mai (53 years old), from Ninh Binh , has a doctorate in psychology. Ms. Dinh Thi Mai has many years of experience working at Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union, as a specialist in the Youth Union Building Board; Organization - Inspection Board; Ideology - Culture Board of Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union. Since 2002, she has been a specialist at the Propaganda Department, Central Propaganda Department, then became the Head of the Propaganda Department from August 2019 to present.

After having another deputy head, the Central Propaganda Department has Nguyen Trong Nghia as its head. The deputy heads include Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, Nguyen Manh Hung (Minister of Information and Communications, concurrently), Le Quoc Minh (Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, concurrently), Phan Xuan Thuy and Ms. Vu Thanh Mai and Dinh Thi Mai.
