This is a special program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), aiming to recreate heroic memories and emotional stories told by historical witnesses. The program is broadcast live on Tuyen Quang Electronic Newspaper and social platforms Fanpage, Youtube Tuyen Quang Online Newspaper.

Attending the program were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, along with leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; and historical witnesses.

The opening of the program recreated heroic memories through precious images and documentary films summarizing the entire Dien Bien Phu Campaign collected and produced by Tuyen Quang Newspaper. At the program, historical witnesses who were Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign shared their memories of the difficult and heroic years of the campaign.

The program also affirmed the position, role and contributions of Tuyen Quang - the Resistance Capital with the Dien Bien Phu victory. During those heroic years, Tuyen Quang was both the rear of the frontline and also performed well the task of protecting the safety of the activities of Uncle Ho and the Central agencies.

Tuyen Quang has also continuously built and consolidated its armed forces, recruited additional troops for its main units; ensured smooth transportation in all situations; and served as a bridge between the Viet Bac base and the Northwest battlefield. At the same time, it provided human and material support for the Dien Bien Phu campaign, making an important contribution to the victory of the resistance war against the French.

At the program, representatives of the armed forces and the young generation of the province also shared the honor and pride of being born, studying and working in the homeland of Tuyen Quang, in order to promote the values and historical lessons of the Dien Bien Phu victory, following in the footsteps of previous generations to build an increasingly developed homeland.

Especially in the program, the audience was captivated by the special art performances praising the victory "Resounding throughout the five continents, shaking the world" of the Vietnamese people and the pride of Tuyen Quang - the Capital of the Resistance Zone.
