Caught red-handed drug rehabilitation center staff in Hanoi gambling

On October 24, the leader of Ba Vi District Police ( Hanoi ) said that the District Police Investigation Agency had initiated a case involving a group of subjects who organized gambling and gambled at a resident's house in Tay Dang town.

The subjects were then detained to serve the investigation.

Notably, among the "gamblers" caught red-handed by the police was Mr. Nguyen Nghia Dan (born in 1978, residing in Van Hong village, Tay Dang town, Ba Vi district). Mr. Dan is an officer working at a drug rehabilitation facility under the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

After the incident, the facility reported to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Dan from work.

The leader of the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs confirmed that the Department had received the report and was verifying and resolving the matter.

The Ba Vi District Police Investigation Agency is investigating and handling the subjects according to regulations.
