Closing ceremony of Intermediate Political Theory class for cadres of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces

This morning, December 20, Le Duan Political School held a closing ceremony for the Intermediate Political Theory class, full-time program, course XIII, 2024, for cadres of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces (Laos). The Intermediate Political Theory Class, full-time, course XIII, 2024, for officials of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces, has 50 students, each province has 25 students. The students are all current leaders and candidates for leadership positions of provincial and district-level departments, branches and sectors. 100% of the students are members of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

The training period of the course is 10 months, including: 3 months of Vietnamese language taught by the Pedagogical College, 6 months of political theory taught by Le Duan Political School and 1 month of field research. The program consists of 13 sections with 1,056 lessons.

At the end of the course, 1 student graduated with distinction, 42 students graduated with honors, 7 students graduated with good grades. In particular, 10 students with excellent academic and training achievements were recognized and rewarded.

According to the school leaders' assessment, during the learning process, students always strictly comply with the training rules and regulations of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the school; are highly self-disciplined in studying and training, fully participate in classes; have standard behavior with lecturers, Vietnamese students and people; no students violate Vietnamese law. Teaching, student management, regimes and policies are always ensured to be implemented well and in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Phan Van Phung affirmed that the closing ceremony and awarding of intermediate political theory certificates for the 13th course to 50 students from Savannakhet and Salavan provinces contributed significantly to continuing to affirm the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and between the three provinces of Quang Tri , Savannakhet and Salavan in particular.

Over the course of history, the cooperation between the two countries has increasingly developed in all fields, with special attention paid to Party building and cadre training. This is the leading factor and at the same time an important nucleus in strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

This course is the inheritance and development of the long-term cooperation in training cadres in the overall cooperation and development strategy of the three provinces. Besides, it also has the meaning of implementing the important political task of the two Parties and the two States of Vietnam and Laos to further strengthen the spirit of solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, continue to create momentum to promote the process of socio-economic development, culture, national defense and security between the provinces.

The Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the proactive spirit, efforts and endeavors of the students to achieve good learning results. At the same time, it acknowledged the seriousness and efforts of the staff and lecturers of Le Duan Political School in organizing classes to ensure the proposed program and plan.

I hope that Le Duan Political School will continue to promote its results to contribute to supplementing a team of cadres with strong political and professional skills to meet the requirements of implementing Laos's innovation policy, and building Savannakhet and Salavan provinces to increasingly develop.
