The agreement between BIDV and Hana Bank is expected to contribute to strengthening economic, trade and investment cooperation, thereby further promoting the good comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
General Secretary To Lam , Prime Minister Kim Min Seok and senior leaders of the two countries took souvenir photos with businesses at the forum.
According to the Cooperation Agreement, BIDV and Hana Bank will coordinate to implement key cooperation projects, including: Connecting QR payments across the Vietnam - Korea border, allowing customers to withdraw money using QR codes from the Hana Bank application at BIDV's ATM system in Vietnam; Providing 24/7 remittance services from Korea to Vietnam via HanaEZ with fast speed, competitive costs and guaranteed safety...
Not only stopping at key projects, the two sides also committed to continue researching and promoting new financial initiatives, aiming to strengthen financial cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, while strengthening the strategic partnership between BIDV and Hana Bank. In addition, the agreement also contributes to expanding banking service channels, promoting digital transformation and international integration, and creating a foundation for deeper cooperation in areas such as fintech, securities, insurance, contributing to creating synergy in many fields.
Hana Bank has been a strategic shareholder of BIDV since November 2019. Over the past time, the strategic cooperation relationship has been promoted and increasingly developed. This cooperation project is part of the cooperation between the two banks, marking a new step forward in the strategic cooperation relationship between the two leading financial institutions of Vietnam and Korea. In the context of the increasingly strong comprehensive cooperation relationship between the two countries, this cooperation promises to bring more practical values to customers, business communities and the economies of both countries.
