Binh Duong: Spreading folk dance activities to celebrate the anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

Recently, members and women at all levels of the Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union have actively practiced the Folk Dance to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), and continuing to respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" for the period 2021-2030, implementing the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union on continuing to practice folk dance, the Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union has launched among its cadres, members and women to practice the model folk dance to the background music of the medley of three songs "Qua mien Tay Bac", "Chien thang Dien Bien", "Inh la oi" created by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

After 2 months of launching, the activities received positive response from all levels of the Association, the sports and cultural movements spread widely from all levels of the Association, 91/91 Association bases were deployed to hamlets and organized for female members to practice, most of them were women from 45 to 70 years old.

Each dance team attracts from 15 to 30 women to practice, depending on each woman's time conditions, practice will be organized in the morning and evening. The clubs have practiced enthusiastically in parks, flower gardens, neighborhood offices, and hamlets, creating a vibrant atmosphere and spreading the activities of the Women's Union at all levels to the people in the province.

The folk dance celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) was actively responded to by all levels of the Women's Union of Binh Duong province.

Thanks to the response of the female members, local women have stepped up their participation in training, there have been nearly 40 folk dance video clips posted on the Binh Duong Women's Fanpage, performed, edited and staged by the women into lively clips with traditional ethnic costumes, uniforms of the Association...

In particular, a number of units have performed this model folk dance at events of the Association, of sectors and levels in the province such as: The launching ceremony, consolidating members and the board of directors of the arts club of Chanh Phu Hoa ward (Ben Cat town), The flag awarding ceremony and inauguration of the national flag street (Tan Uyen city), The closing ceremony and awarding of the online photo contest (Phu Giao district), The incense offering ceremony at the Victory Monument (Bau Bang)...

According to the Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union, this is a meaningful activity of the cadres, members and women of Binh Duong province, contributing with women across the country to create a broad political movement with the spirit of "Women across the country turn to Dien Bien".
