The Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a training course for civil servants at the senior specialist level and equivalent in 2024 for 80 civil servants and public employees of affiliated units.

On October 21, the Central School for Training and Fostering of Industry and Trade Officials coordinated with the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Industry and Trade) to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 Training Course for civil servants of the senior specialist level and equivalent for 80 civil servants and public employees of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

At the 13th Party Congress, it was determined: "Focus on building a team of cadres and civil servants with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, serving the people and the development of the country. Strengthening discipline and order along with reforming salaries, regimes, and preferential policies, creating an environment and working conditions to promote innovation and creativity, serving development; having a mechanism to select, train, attract, and promote talents, encouraging and protecting cadres who dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, dare to face difficulties and challenges, and be resolute in action for the common good. At the same time, there is a mechanism to screen and promptly replace those who do not fulfill their tasks, violate the law, public service ethics, professional ethics, are disciplined, and no longer have prestige with the people" .

Clearly identifying the importance of personnel work, in recent times, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has focused on building a team of cadres with qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task; sufficient in quantity, quality, and structure in line with the development strategy of the Industry and Trade sector. In addition, personnel work has closely followed the Party's viewpoints and principles, increasingly becoming routine and achieving important results.

At the same time, the Ministry has issued many resolutions, conclusions, directives and amended and supplemented many regulations and rules for implementation, thus, the personnel work processes are increasingly strict, synchronous, public, transparent, scientific and democratic. Notably, the work of training, fostering and updating new knowledge is of interest, gradually linked to titles, with planning and use of staff.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hong - Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel emphasized that in order to meet the requirements of knowledge, skills, and develop the capacity to perform public duties for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the main specialist level in accordance with the prescribed standards; to meet the requirements of state administrative reform, serve the people and the development of the country.

As a mandatory condition for every cadre, civil servant, and public employee to equip themselves, the Department of Personnel Organization also requires trainees to strictly follow the rules and regulations, fully attend all training topics, fully grasp the content that the lecturers impart, supplement and update necessary, modern and practical knowledge on state management to successfully fulfill assigned duties.

According to MSc. Le Hai An - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the Central School of Training and Fostering of Industry and Trade Officials, during the course of organizing the class, the school always pays attention and provides all conditions in terms of facilities and a team of experienced lecturers to best serve the course.

By participating in the training course, students will be equipped and updated with advanced knowledge on state management and develop public service performance capacity, meeting the requirements of state administrative reform, contributing to building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with good moral qualities, political mettle, capacity and professionalism, dedicated to serving the people, contributing to building an increasingly advanced and modern administration, meeting the requirements of national development.

School leaders expect students to seriously implement the training program and class rules and regulations, proactively research and actively participate in discussions on topics, and successfully complete the requirements set forth in the class.
