What is 'Bo nhu nao'? Watch BigDaddy's new MV, knowing every corner of Hanoi

Right after Rap Viet coach BigDaddy released the new MV "Bo nhu dao", the phrase "Bo nhu dao" quickly went viral on music and entertainment forums.

Rapper BigDaddy was a judge on King of Rap, a coach on Rap Viet and The Voice Kids. He also won the Dedication Award in 2014 for the song Tinh Yeu Mau Nang in the Song of the Year category.

On the evening of November 13, Rap Viet coach BigDaddy simultaneously released his debut album Nhan Tran and MV Bo nhu ao .

This is one of the rap albums with a strong Hanoi style, full of creativity.

What is the shore ?

Right after the MV "Bo nhu dao" was released, on forums, audiences asked: Is "Bo nhu dao" the same as "What is the meaning of "Nowadays"?

On an entertainment forum with 4.5 million followers, the phrase "Bo nhu ao" is explained as "How is it now", to refer to the following situations: one, describing a hot-tempered, grumpy state; two, a change in the weather.

In the MV "Bo nhu ao", BigDaddy collaborated with Phuc Du, TEZ, Ogenus, telling the story of the exciting youth years in Hanoi, moving to Saigon to develop a musical journey that has now had its own achievements.

All four were once reckless, playful, and somewhat rebellious young men "he had stumbled many times/ his mouth was like an incense burner, smoking for weeks" .

But thanks to music, they have become people who bring value to life.

BIGDADDY - "BO NHUAO" ft PHUC DU, OGENUS, TEZ

The rap part in the MV has a reasonable and smooth flow. Phuc Du has a warm, husky voice, very Hanoian; while TEZ is youthful, with an impressive fastflow. Ogenus raps a soft melody; and BigDaddy concludes with a thoughtful, contemplative rap.

At the end, producers DuongK and WOKEUP also added vibrant vinahouse to extend the journey of discovery , making the MV very open.

The MV is full of creativity, from images to music. On a Dream motorbike, the MV takes the audience all over Hanoi, from sidewalk tea shops, old apartment buildings, traditional markets, elevated railways, Hoan Kiem Lake... to Hanoi-style family meals. The audience jokingly said that watching Bo is like seeing a boat, knowing every nook and cranny of the capital.

Shore like an Ao is in the album Nhan Tran , consisting of eight tracks. In addition to the intro at the beginning and outro at the end, the album has six songs, respectively: Silent Rain in the Sky, Nhan Tran, Se Lam Heal, Long Rains at the End of Winter, Simple as Weaving a Basket, and Shore like an Ao .

BigDaddy shared that he "wants to tell stories with diversity and richness in both life perspectives and musical styles."

The album opens with an intro full of Hanoi atmosphere.

Starting from the familiar cries of street vendors, the Hanoi Moi newspaper office, souvenir shops in the old quarter, roadside drink stalls, graffiti, old-style houses... to the curious eyes of passersby.
