VOV 3 launches the creative campaign "Vietnam in the era of rising up"

Towards the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has officially launched a campaign to compose songs, folk songs with new lyrics and poetry works with the theme "Vietnam in the era of rising up". This is a national-scale cultural and artistic activity with profound political and social significance, inspiring creativity among artists, writers and the general public who love literature and art.

Awakening creative inspiration for a rising Vietnam

The campaign, organized by the Literature - Arts - Music Department (VOV3) of VTV, is part of the propaganda plan to welcome the 14th National Party Congress and major holidays in the 2025 - 2026 period.

Reporters, musicians, and artists of the Literature - Arts - Music Department (VOV3) hope that the creative movement will achieve many good results.

The campaign's goal is to find and disseminate works of artistic value and profound content, praising the homeland - country - Vietnamese people in the era of integration and development. The genres of composition are very diverse: New songs in many modern musical styles such as Pop, Rock, Rap, Dance, Indie...; Folk songs with new lyrics from the traditional music treasure of 54 ethnic groups; Poetic works praising the homeland, the Party, Uncle Ho, revolutionary traditions and national spirit.

The works need to express love for the Fatherland, reflect the achievements of innovation and aspirations to rise up, contributing to building the image of a friendly - confident - prosperous Vietnam in the new era.

Rules and participation time

Launch: From October 1, deadline for submissions is November 25. Closing and award ceremony: Expected on December 5 at the Voice of Vietnam Theater (58 Quan Su, Hanoi ).

VOV3 with the program "Sounds of Memory" recreates the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign with musical works created 50 years ago.

Authors can send their entries by post or email: vov3@vov.vn. Each entry must clearly state the author's information, work title, genre and include music and audio files if available. The participants are very open: from professional musicians and poets to amateur authors, Vietnamese people abroad and international friends who love Vietnam.

Entries must be new creations, not have participated in any other contests, and must not use artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation process.

The works will go through two preliminary and final rounds. The Jury, consisting of prestigious musicians, poets and artists established by VTV, will select the best compositions to be awarded and broadcast widely on the media.

The award structure includes three categories: Songs, Folk songs with new lyrics and Poetry with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND.

VOV3 is always proud of the tradition that generations of Musicians, Artists, and Music Editors have cultivated.

First prize for songs is up to 15 million VND, for folk songs is 12 million VND, and for poems is 10 million VND, along with many second, third and encouragement prizes.

Winning works will be awarded a Certificate, a symbolic Cup, and used for national propaganda work.

With the theme "Vietnam in the era of rising up", the campaign is not only an artistic playground, but also an opportunity to arouse national pride, connect community emotions, and spread love for the homeland through melodies, lyrics and poetry.
