The Provincial Social Work Center is currently managing and caring for 65 subjects, including 12 elderly people and 53 orphans and homeless disabled people. Duong Hien Social Protection Facility is currently caring for and raising 2 elderly people and 28 orphaned children.

Visiting and presenting Tet gifts to the Provincial Social Work Center, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh and leaders of Ha Giang province acknowledged and commended the unit's achievements in 2023, deserving to be a warm "common home" for the unfortunate.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Duong Hien Social Protection Facility, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh and leaders of Ha Giang province kindly asked about health, gave meaningful gifts and wished everyone a happy and warm Lunar New Year; hoping that the children will have more strength and confidence to overcome adversity and become useful citizens.

On this occasion, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh also presented 50 beds for teachers and students to Quang Binh and Quan Ba ​​districts, and 50 beds and 50 million VND to Duong Hien Sponsorship Facility.

Previously, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province and the working delegation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment came to offer incense, flowers, and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery and the Heroic Martyrs Temple (AHLS) at High Point 468, Nam Nghat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district.

Here, more than 40 years ago, generations of cadres and soldiers of the main army units and many local army units fought steadfastly and bravely on the land of Thanh Thuy, Vi Xuyen. They kept in mind the oath "Live clinging to the rocks to fight the enemy, die and become immortal stones". The victory of our army and people was immense, but the losses and casualties were also very painful. More than 4,000 cadres and soldiers from many rural areas across the country lay here; their blood colored the flag of the Heroic Vietnam People's Army; their bodies merged with the motherland so that the Fatherland would be forever peaceful and eternal.
