The delegation visited and presented 30 Mid-Autumn gifts to disabled children and children with special difficulties at Thien Tam Social Assistance Facility (Tay Ho Commune, Da Nang City).
Previously, the delegation visited and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to disabled children at the social assistance facility under the Phu Ninh District Development Program (now Chien Dan commune).
* On the same day, Deputy Director of the City Department of Health Doan Thi Hoai Nhi and representatives of the Office of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city visited and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to disabled children and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin who are being cared for and raised at the Huong Duong Vang Inclusive Education Center on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025.
The center is a common home for 50 children with various disabilities such as: visual impairment, speech impairment, intellectual disability, autism. Children from preschool to primary school age are provided with accommodation, cultural subjects, and talents such as: painting, singing, piano, computer, etc.
* On the afternoon of October 2, the delegation also visited and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children and people with disabilities at the Center for Supporting Agent Orange Victims and Unfortunate Children in Da Nang City (facility 3, Quang Phu Ward).
The center is caring for and nurturing 120 people with various types of disabilities, mainly hearing impairment, intellectual disability, and Down syndrome.
The working delegation presented dozens of Mid-Autumn gifts and cash to the center and unfortunate children, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin on the occasion of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.
* On the same day, the City Police Youth Union organized the program "Warm Mid-Autumn Festival - Lighting up love" in La Êê commune, bringing to children in the highlands and border areas a warm and affectionate Mid-Autumn Festival.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 600 Mid-Autumn gifts including lanterns, milk, candy... with a total value of 60 million VND to the children. (PHAM QUANG MAN)
* On the same day, Thanh Khe Ward Police coordinated with Nam Giang Commune Police to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" at Nam Giang 2 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
At the program, Thanh Khe Ward Police presented 177 gifts including candy, lanterns and books to children, with priority given to children in difficult circumstances.
