Frustration with the 23,000 billion VND "miniature eco-city" in Gia Lai

(NLDO) - The Nhon Hoi New City project with a total investment of more than 23,000 billion VND in Gia Lai is 4 years behind schedule, with degraded infrastructure, causing hundreds of customers to be upset.

Nhon Hoi New City project – once promoted as a "miniature ecological city" on Phuong Mai peninsula, Quy Nhon Dong ward, Gia Lai province. The project has a total investment of more than 23,000 billion VND. However, this project has been behind schedule for the past 4 years, with degraded infrastructure, causing hundreds of customers to be upset.

Faced with this situation, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has just requested investors to complete many items before September 30. The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board is assigned to regularly inspect and supervise, especially in sub-zones 2, 4 and 9.

Accordingly, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company and Danh Khoi Holdings Investment Joint Stock Company must urgently complete the power supply infrastructure in subdivision 2; the power system and wastewater collection in subdivision 9; at the same time, repair degraded items, supplement legal documents and outstanding financial obligations.

The government also requires businesses to promptly issue land use right certificates to households that have paid 95-100% of the contract value; organize direct dialogues with customers to receive and handle complaints, and ensure security and order.

Previously, despite repeated commitments by the project investor, the project progress was still sluggish. Many items were abandoned, lacked electricity and water, the wastewater treatment system was not completed; many areas were seriously degraded.

The prolonged delay not only causes damage to people but also negatively affects the investment environment and reputation of the regional real estate market.
