Bui Huyen Trang released a MV praising the beauty of Hanoi

Bui Huyen Trang, the young female singer who just won first prize in the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest, has released to the audience her first MV in her singing career called "Hanoi Girl".

The MV "Girl of Hanoi" is set in Hanoi in the 1970s, when the city was going through difficult times. Hanoi was engulfed in flames and smoke from US B52 air raids, but the resilient spirit of the people still shone brightly.

Based on the poem by Ngoc Khue and music by Doan Nguyen Hieu, the song "Girl of Hanoi" not only praises the beauty of Hanoi's nature and people but also recreates the heroic spirit of a proud resistance period.

The MV was made by young director Kai Nguyen Hai and cinematographer Le Quang, bringing a gentle, simple but profound story. Bui Huyen Trang's clear, soft, powerful soprano voice has created a musical product filled with emotions.

Bui Huyen Trang, born in 2003, was a phenomenon of the Sao Mai 2022 Program when she was only 19 years old. At the Vietnam National Academy of Music, with the guidance of Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, she constantly challenged herself. She participated in the National Chamber - Opera - Choir Singing Competition in 2023 and excellently won the runner-up position.
