The Office of the Hanoi People's Committee issued a notice of the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan at the meeting to review the plan to renovate, upgrade and expand the roads around West Lake, Tay Ho district. Notably, Hanoi leaders agreed on the plan to widen the cross-section of Quang An road to 21m.

Quang An Street is a road along West Lake. In addition to the road opening, the area on the right (in the picture) is also determined to be a green park and multi-purpose house.

In addition, another street along West Lake is also planned to be expanded to 21m, which is Tu Hoa Street.

The content of the document also stated: Hanoi City People's Committee assigned relevant units to standardize the plan for arranging the inland waterway terminal and the bridge connecting Thuy Su Lake - Dam Tri Lake to ensure the highest aesthetics, smallest scale, and most beautiful... It is known that the inland waterway terminal is located on Quang Khanh Street, right next to the Opera House on Dam Tri Lake.

According to the Urban Zoning Plan for the West Lake area and vicinity (A6 approved by the Hanoi People's Committee), West Lake will have 8 boat docks and water tourism routes.

Currently, the area planned for the construction of an inland waterway terminal is still vacant land.

The bridge connecting Thuy Su Lake with Dam Tri Lake in Quang An Peninsula, Tay Ho District. It is known that this is just an idea of ​​the consulting unit, there is no specific plan yet.

A route will be opened according to the plan, located right next to Dam Tri Lake.

Previously, on January 15, 2025, Tay Ho District People's Committee started the construction project of Dang Thai Mai Street, phase 1. The structure includes two traffic routes on both sides (each route has 4 lanes) and a green landscape strip in the middle (underground parking lot with a minimum capacity of 1,635 vehicles directly connected to the underground construction space).

The route is the infrastructure connection framework according to the Detailed Planning Project of the central spatial axis area of ​​Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500, approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 6132/QD-UBND dated November 26, 2024.
