It is necessary to promptly evaluate and replicate the model of "Friendly Government serving the people"

On the morning of June 18, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked in Bo Xuyen ward ( Thai Binh city) to listen to a report on the results of the pilot implementation of the model "Friendly government serving the people".

After more than 9 months of implementing the model "Friendly government serving the people" in Bo Xuyen ward, it has brought about practical results, contributing to strengthening the great solidarity bloc, moving towards a transparent, effective, efficient administration serving the people, gradually shifting from administrative government to service government. The model has created a strong change in the ideology and awareness of officials and civil servants of the grassroots government, recognized, agreed and supported by the people and businesses. Through implementing the model, the image of the head of the government, the team of officials and civil servants is built as exemplary, friendly, close and responsible to the people. Up to now, the Ward People's Committee has organized the awarding of marriage certificates and congratulatory flowers to 32 couples; awarded birth certificates and congratulatory flowers to 117 cases; sent 60 thank you letters to groups and individuals participating in supporting the project of installing a security camera system; organized a funeral and sent 63 letters of condolence to relatives of deceased citizens.

Delegates discussed achievements, limitations, experiences, good and creative practices, and recommendations to make the model of "Friendly Government serving the people" more effective in the coming time.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the achievements of Bo Xuyen ward in the process of implementing the model; at the same time, requested the ward Party Committee and government to continue to perform better, becoming a typical ward in the coming time.

He emphasized that the purpose of the model of "Friendly Government serving the people" is to serve the people, all the people's work must be taken care of, resolved quickly, neatly, thoroughly, making the people satisfied. To do that, it is necessary to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, cadres and civil servants in performing public duties; fully grasp the provisions of the law, on that basis, be creative, put forward regulations close to local reality, in accordance with the provisions of the law. Besides, it is necessary to propagate, mobilize and guide people to become conscious of voluntarily participating in implementation in all fields. Pay attention to implementing well the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, openly, transparently, clearly, all matters must be discussed and implemented by the people. Continue to improve public service ethics for cadres and civil servants; promptly encourage and reward collectives and individuals who perform well. He also suggested that the city soon re-evaluate to replicate and spread the model to many other localities.
