Donated 1.5 billion VND to students of Kien Thiet commune

On the afternoon of September 26, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang province, along with philanthropists, coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival with fairy tales for more than 1,600 students in the commune.

Delegates presented scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties in Kien Thiet commune, Tuyen Quang province.

The delegation presented 110 gifts including books, clothes, and scholarships to excellent students who have overcome difficulties in their studies, and students from poor households with especially difficult circumstances at the Kien Thiet Kindergarten, Primary School, and Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities; presented 1,600 gifts including candies and cakes to 1,600 students in the commune; Thanh Xuan Hanoi Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company sponsored 1 year of "school milk" for 217 students, 500,000 VND/month/student in Nam Bo village, worth over 1.3 billion VND, and 1,600 boxes of Vinamilk milk to 1,600 students in the commune. The total value of the gifts at the program was 1.5 billion VND.

Children of Kien Thiet commune, Tuyen Quang province participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival fairy tale program.

These are meaningful gifts, demonstrating the concern of all levels and sectors for students in remote areas, contributing to sharing and helping them celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in a joyful and warm atmosphere, thereby creating motivation for them to overcome difficulties and study well.
