Can Tho has a new Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of February 3, Can Tho City Party Committee held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.

Accordingly, at the conference, the Prime Minister 's decision to approve the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, City Party Committee member, Secretary of Thot Not District Party Committee, was announced.

At the same time, the decision of the Can Tho City Party Committee on the transfer and assignment of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep to stop participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and to stop holding the position of Secretary of the Thot Not District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to transfer to the City People's Committee, holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term was announced.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep expressed her sincere thanks to the city leaders, former city leaders of all periods, leaders of the Party Building Committees of the City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the city's departments, branches, and sectors, local leaders and especially the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of Thot Not district for always caring, helping, and creating favorable conditions for her to successfully complete the assigned tasks in the recent past.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep was born in 1974, hometown Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province, has a BA in English, BA in Law, and MA in Politics.

Before holding the position of Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee, Ms. Ngoc Diep was a specialist at the Office of Can Tho City People's Committee; Deputy Head of the Department of Culture - Internal Affairs, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs - Legislation, Office of Can Tho City People's Committee; Deputy Chief of the Office of Can Tho City People's Committee; Deputy Chief Inspector of Can Tho City; Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Can Tho; Secretary of the Thot Not District Party Committee.
