"To participate in the program, the school requires students to prove their financial ability, specifically, they need to have 120 million VND in their bank account to get a bank statement to submit to the school," the notice clearly stated.
According to Dr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University, the above announcement is completely fake. The person who forged the document transferred FPT University to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Also according to Dr. Le Truong Tung, recently, there has been a lot of fraudulent information related to study abroad brokerage, recruitment, and enrollment associated with the names of the units.
For FPT educational institutions, candidates need to understand the principle: All official information must be published on the school's official information portals.
Regarding finance, FPT Edu strictly applies the no-cash policy. All payments, if any, are made through the school's account, not in the names of individuals or other entities.
Previously, many scammers created fake Facebook accounts impersonating international students or workers or people living abroad, made friends with their friends and relatives, then texted them to trick them into transferring money from several million to several hundred million Dong.
Some people do not have the function of consulting on studying abroad but still set up fake websites and "ghost" companies and then introduce them on social networks to scam money from many people.
