Granting certificate of organic tea production model to Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative

Thai Nguyen Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has just coordinated with the People's Committee of Phuc Linh Commune (Dai Tu District) to summarize and grant a certificate of tea production model according to Vietnam organic standards to Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative.

Implementing the Agricultural Extension Program for the period 2020-2025, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has organized the implementation of an organic tea production model according to Vietnamese standards in the two years 2023-2024 with a scale of 40 hectares in the province.

In Phuc Linh commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to implement an organic tea production model according to Vietnamese standards at Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative located in Khuu 3 hamlet, Phuc Linh commune with a scale of 7 hectares for 22 participating households.

The Agricultural Extension Center coordinates with the certification organization to develop an assessment plan to certify organic tea production models according to Vietnamese standards TCVN 11041-2:2017, TCVN 11041-6:2018 each year.

In 2023, coordinate with NHONHO Technology Co., Ltd. to evaluate production areas and collect soil, water, and product samples (fresh and dried tea) for analysis. Issue certificates of conversion to organic production for the first year to households participating in the model.

In 2024, coordinate with FAO Certification and Testing Joint Stock Company to evaluate and inspect the production process of households participating in the model, take samples of soil, water, and tea products according to regulations at cooperatives.

After 2 years of efforts, the tea production model of Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative with a total area of ​​7 hectares and 22 participating households has met the criteria of Vietnam's organic standards and has been granted a tea production certificate according to Vietnam's organic standards TCVN 11041-6:2018 by FAO Certification and Testing Joint Stock Company.
