Issuing criminal records: Effective, transparent, serving the people

Officers of the Professional Records Department carry out procedures to issue criminal records to people at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.

Immediately upon receiving the new job, the Department of Professional Records was assigned by the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors to directly deploy it, ensuring that the issuance activities take place continuously and smoothly, without affecting the rights of the people.

During the implementation process, the unit has proactively reviewed the process, promptly handled difficulties, and at the same time strengthened coordination between professional departments to serve people quickly and accurately. Thanks to that, after more than 7 months of implementation, the work of issuing criminal records at the Professional Records Department has become routine, achieving many positive results.

To date, the unit has received 13,225 applications and issued 12,463 criminal records, of which 88.8% (equivalent to 11,072 applications) were submitted online via the VNeID application, the National Public Service Portal and the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal. All criminal records were returned on or before the prescribed deadline.

Through feedback from people coming to complete procedures, most of them highly appreciated the spirit and service attitude of the police officers; the implementation process was transparent, quick, and minimized waiting time; there were no comments about delays or causing trouble.

Currently, the entire process of issuing criminal records has been publicly posted at the One-Stop Department and on electronic platforms, making it easy for people at home and abroad to access. In addition, the Professional Records Department continues to promote and guide people to submit applications online.
