On the occasion of the New Year, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Quang Tri Province, Truong Duc Minh Tu, wished the elderly journalists good health, a happy and useful life, continued to promote their experience as journalists, participated in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and contributed more to journalistic activities.
At the same time, quickly inform senior journalists about the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on a number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient in the press sector in recent times.
Information on some activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the province during the Lunar New Year of At Ty such as: coordinating with businesses to give Tet gifts to the poor, students in difficult circumstances in some localities in the province, investing in building classrooms in mountainous areas...
Regarding the key plan for 2025, the association will coordinate to organize many practical activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21 (1925 - 2025) such as: exhibitions, display of images and press artifacts; discussion on the theme of Quang Tri press accompanying the homeland and country; advising the Provincial People's Committee to organize the ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21; well prepare conditions to organize the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Quang Tri province, term 2025 - 2030...

In the past year, the Provincial Senior Journalists Club had 2 new members joining the Club, bringing the total number of current Club members to 45. The Club maintained good activities such as: organizing spring meetings; visiting some historical sites and scenic spots in the province; organizing visits and encouraging sick and unfortunate members.
Most of the journalists are old and their health has somewhat declined, but they still continue to promote their abilities, enhance their roles and responsibilities, and make many contributions to journalistic activities.
Some members actively participate and win high awards in the fields of journalism, literature and arts at the provincial, regional and central levels.
In 2025, the Club will continue to organize many field trips and activities to create conditions for members to exploit information, be inspired to create journalism, literature and art, contributing to strengthening solidarity, exchange, and improving the spiritual life of elderly journalists.
On this occasion, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province Truong Duc Minh Tu presented flowers and gifts to celebrate the 70th and 80th birthdays of the two journalists.
