Da Nang FC is at a huge geographical disadvantage as they have to travel to Ho Chi Minh City to play the play-off match for the 2024-2025 season. Meanwhile, their opponents from Binh Phuoc are only about 120km away from the stadium.
Due to the pre-arranged match schedule and the close proximity to the match date, the Danang Club's request to play in Quy Nhon could not be met by the organizers. They had to accept the reality.
Coach Le Duc Tuan and his team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of June 24 to get used to the weather conditions. Meanwhile, nearly 50 fans of the team traveled by bus on the morning of June 26.
Da Nang FC has arranged 2 buses to take the families of the fans to Ho Chi Minh City by road. Fans of the team can choose to travel by other means.
The distance between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City is nearly 1,000km and takes about 14 hours to travel. This is definitely a memorable trip for Da Nang football lovers in general.

Last season, the image of buses taking Da Nang fans to Tam Ky to cheer for the team was very familiar. Because Hoa Xuan Stadium was being renovated, the team had to borrow the field of Quang Nam Club.
The orange buses will arrive at the meeting point and pick up Da Nang FC fans throughout the 8 home matches of the first leg of the V-League 2024-2025 season. The team will soon return to play at Hoa Xuan Stadium.
And to know which division Da Nang Club will compete in next season, we have to wait for the result of the play-off match with Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club, the runner-up of the 2024-2025 National First Division.
The match will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium at 6pm on June 27. If the two teams draw after 90 minutes, it will go to a penalty shootout. The winning team will play in V-League 1 season 2025-2026, the losing team will play in V-League 2.
