Expressing his joy at attending the Program, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai warmly congratulated and commended the 64 honored enterprises, representing the Vietnamese business community and workers, for the development of the community and the whole country.

"These are typical enterprises representing many enterprises in all fields, in all regions and localities across the country that have constantly strived to overcome difficulties, innovated in production and business activities, maintained and kept stable growth in the difficult economic context after the COVID-19 pandemic, while at the same time doing a good job of taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers; harmoniously combining the interests of enterprises with the rights of workers, creating positive values ​​for society," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

Comrade Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor congratulated the enterprises receiving Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Currently, Vietnam has nearly 910,000 operating enterprises, more than 31,000 cooperatives and 5.5 million business households, contributing more than 60% of the country's GDP.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai stated: Today's event takes place at a very meaningful time when the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2023-2028 term are being urgently completed, moving towards the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union at the end of this year, opening a period of development in a new context, building a comprehensively strong Vietnam Trade Union, a reliable support for union members and workers, a solid political and social foundation of the Party and State, thereby actively contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovation of the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation.

In the process of growth and development of each enterprise, employees are the production resource, the key factor affecting the enterprise. Employees are the direct force that creates economic value, nurtures corporate culture, and contributes to the overall growth and development of the enterprise. Employees are also a driving force to promote innovation and create competitive advantages for the enterprise. Therefore, caring for, protecting and creating long-term welfare for employees, building stable, sustainable and progressive labor relations are also factors that help enterprises develop sustainably.

To achieve a harmonious and stable relationship, the Deputy Prime Minister said that enterprises need to consider each employee as their invaluable asset and each employee must also fully realize their responsibility for the overall development of the enterprise.

This is the biggest and consistent goal that we have achieved and will continue to maintain in the following years.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai requested the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with business associations to promote solutions to support enterprises in restructuring their labor force, improving the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of innovation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Develop and perfect policies to train high-quality human resources, approaching international standards to meet market requirements in the new situation.

For the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and trade unions at all levels, comrade Le Minh Khai suggested continuing to build and effectively implement the emulation movement to study, practice and improve professional skills, lifelong learning among workers. Strengthen legal consultation and propaganda activities so that workers comply with and understand labor laws, promptly support workers in changing careers, and introduce jobs to workers.

Along with that, strengthen dialogue, negotiation and consultation activities with employers on ensuring job maintenance, labor arrangement and resolving regimes for employees in accordance with legal regulations.

On the part of businesses, it is necessary to ensure full benefits for workers, continue to demonstrate social responsibility, actively participate in poverty reduction programs, repay gratitude, and contribute to strengthening national solidarity.

On the part of workers, it is necessary to proactively study, train, and improve their vocational skills, working skills, and professional expertise to meet the requirements of the working environment and the working environment in the new situation. Support and accompany business owners and enterprises to create more economic value, maintain positive working relationships, and ensure a healthy working environment.
