In recent times, the network has also continuously communicated to raise customer awareness about their rights and responsibilities to jointly handle spam calls by reporting these behaviors via the customer support hotline, My MobiFone website/application, fanpage and number 5656.
The Corporation has built a system to monitor and prevent spam calls according to the criteria set by the Telecommunications Department for network operators on preventing spam calls, proactively blocking spam calls according to evaluation and monitoring criteria when the system detects them.
Accordingly, in addition to the channel for receiving people's feedback through hotline 5656 and Customer Support Hotline, the corporation also proactively built an automatic system to monitor and prevent spam calls (SPAMCOLL System) to promptly prevent subscribers from calling and bothering customers.
At the same time, the network operator also proactively optimizes the system to improve monitoring efficiency, changes monitoring laws/thresholds to block behaviors of subscribers suspected of spam calls, and improves the effectiveness of monitoring/preventing subscribers from making spam calls on the network.
Thanks to that, the number of blocked spam messages and spam calls increased significantly, avoiding many inconveniences for customers.
Complete and add functions
The network operator recommends that when customers receive a survey message from the network operator about spam calls (sent as a Flash SMS immediately after calls showing signs of spreading spam calls), users can proactively coordinate and respond (choose the answer option "Yes" or "No") to help the network operator screen and accurately handle violating calls.
Currently, the network operator is rushing to complete and add consulting functions, answering questions for customers about cases of fraudulent calls.
This is to raise awareness, support customers in identifying and preventing increasingly sophisticated scams, contributing to protecting information security and user rights.
